1st Olympia Open Shooting Championship

“A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning.” RPS International School, Sector-50, Gurugram set another milestone in organizing sport event. The 1st Olympia Open Shooting Championship from 22nd August to 25th August was organised at our world class shooting range. More than 400 young talents participated from different states- like Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and P unjab. The young shooters participated enthusiastically in this exciting battle of riffles. The cash prize for the Gold medalist set 31000 rupees, for silver medalist 21000 rupees and bronze medalist 11000 rupees. First eight runners- up were awarded consolation prize of 2100 rupees.  Mrs. Chandro Devi Tomar, popularly known as Shooter Dadi, was the Chief Guest in this grand event. The glory of the event rose to culmination on closing ceremony with the presence of Dr. Pavitra Rao, the Chairperson of the RPS Group of Institutions and Mr. Vijay James, ADJ Gurugram.

Intra-RPS Badminton Tournament More than 100 of students from RPS sister concerns participated in Intra-RPS Badminton Tournament in various categories at RPS International, Behror. It was a day full of enthusiasm and energy as our badminton team comprising of Pratham, Pramod, Dhruv and Mayank- secured third position after a neck to neck battle of shuttles. Congratulations to the team and coaches!!

Parents-teacher meeting _"Connecting home and school makes a great community of learners_ ." A parents-teacher meeting was held on 17th July 2019. Parents teachers came together to discuss the area of strength and area of improvement and traced out the ways to enrich students' educational experiences. The entire session remained so interactive focusing on the holistic development of students. They expressed their satisfaction towards the school for providing quality education and encouragement for co-curricular activities. They appreciated the school for enhancing the personality of the students. The progress report of UT was shown to parents and their suggestions were noted. The PTM came to an end with an optimistic approach that the development of the students depends on the joint effort of parents and teachers

Special assembly 'Patriotism is an act of courage for the protection of one's country and preserving its values even at the cost of sacrificing one's life.' The morning of August 13 at RPS-50 witnessed the pride and love for the nation as the Principal of the school unfurled the tricolor followed by the national anthem.  The Special Assembly began with remembering the great vision of the Founder Director of the RPS Group in the field of education- how he empowered the society by spreading the  light of education. RPSians, recalling the great sacrifices of bravehearts for the freedom of the nation, presented the picture of their struggle against the British colonial power. They drew the attention on how the struggle for freedom turned into the giant fire from the spark of the 'Great Revolt of 1857'. They thrilled the audience with their performances of songs, dances and skits, and instilled the sense of pride and love for the nation. The special assembly got
