ACTIVITY:QUIZ COMPETITION

An Inter-house Quiz competition was organized by the school on May 28 ,2019. The Quiz began with the introduction of the contestants and explanation of the rules by  the Quizmaster Aditya Charan Singh of class 8th.
The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly.
Every round was a mixed bag with questions from history , Constitution and geography. The final round, the Rapid-fire round gave the teams a chance to catch up with leaders and put-up a tough fight.
A range of emotions were felt in the auditorium– happiness, sadness, regret and excitement. Everyone waited with baited breath for the announcement of the final scores.
Abdul kalam House  won the Quiz Competition scoring 90 points followed  by  Ramajunan House with 70points. Mother Terasa House and Kalpana Chawla House were tied at the third place with 60 points. Winners were announced by Ms Mayuri Abrol,Coordinator (Middle wing) . All the winners were awarded with merit certificates by the Principal of the School Ms. Bindu Gupta in a special assembly. This quiz truly was a learning experience for both the audience and the participants.

Workshop of teachers on 'Class Interaction'

Mock Fire Drill

"The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.” Through various safeguards and campaigns, RPS International School Sec 50 Gurugram strives to make its teachers and students aware and up-to-date. Keeping this in mind, a 'Mock Fire Drill' was performed on July 31st, 2019 in RPS International School Sec 50 Gurugram. As part of the endeavor, an evacuation drill was organized at the school in order to make the child ren aware of, ‘How to react in case of an emergency’? It was a successful exercise and children participated and cooperated wholeheartedly and intelligently in this initiative.
